Too often, drivers are left stranded and frustrated on the side of the road with a dead battery, flat tire, or busted belt. Disabled vehicles create a dangerous situation for everyone on the road, especially those left standing on the shoulder.

Fortunately, these types of situations can be avoided by getting your car checked regularly and taking care of any damaged or worn parts before they disable your vehicle. Regular, routine maintenance and repairs can help prevent you from being stuck on the side of the road.

When you purchase a new or used car, you will receive a booklet with detailed maintenance schedules for you to follow. Today’s engine has advanced, but there are still details that should be checked regularly. Keeping your car well maintained is the key to preventing breakdowns in dangerous or remote areas. Brake inspections, fluid level checks, oil changes, tire inflation checks, belt checks, and inspection of lights are important.

Proper maintenance should be performed every 15,000 Km. Sometimes these checks will involve ,only an oil change. Other times, a more complex check of items including gauges, sensors, and belts is required. You should have your vehicle checked before heading off on holidays.

It does not matter how old or new your car is, or whether it is a car or truck, diesel or petrol; all vehicles need a service as recommended by the manufacturer. This promotes your vehicle to last to its full potential with little to no mechanical problems. It is like preventative care for your car.

Perhaps the most important reason to following an auto maintenance schedule is to preserve the resale value of your vehicle. While all vehicles depreciate on an ongoing basis, completing recommended maintenance can help raise the resale value of your vehicle.

Whether you foresee selling to a dealership or private party, having proof of all completed maintenance on the vehicle can increase the value of your vehicle.

Some car buyers are fanatical about maintenance, and closely following an auto maintenance schedule will appease them. From the dealership’s end, a vehicle with a good maintenance record is easier to make a certified pre-owned vehicle.

Whether you have scheduled maintenance completed at a Sunshine Coast dealership or an independent mechanic, be sure to save all documentation relating to maintenance items and other repairs in order to keep the warranty intact and raise the resale value of the vehicle.

We don’t have a service quota to fulfill each day which means we can afford to take the time to go through each and every vehicle with a fine tooth comb and make sure every element of our service is properly completed.

And for your peace of mind, if we replace a part, we will always show you the old part so you can be sure the work has been done for you.

We ensure our accounts are itemized so you can clearly see the work we have done, and if you have any questions or concerns we are more than happy to go through the account with you.
